Lower Secondary Years 7 to 9

Our Lower Secondary program is our Pre-IGCSE foundation years. We focus on creating an environment that fosters meaningful engagement in school life, guiding students towards a strong sense of purpose, holistic development and the early building blocks of their educational portfolio towards university.

 

Students build strong academic foundations by cultivating positive learning habits, independence and confidence.

IGCSE Years 9 to 11

At TRIN, our IGCSE journey begins with a broad portfolio of IGCSE subjects ‘taster and exploration’ before final subject commitment. We provide support for students to pursue up to 13 subjects, allowing a wider A level and university options, a stronger academic profile for college and scholarship application.

  • English Language

  • Chinese Language

  • Bahasa Melayu

  • Extended Mathematics, Additional Mathematics

  • Individual Science subjects: Physics, Chemistry and Biology

  • Psychology, Accounting

  • English Literature

  • Economics,

  • Computer Science, Infortmation & Communication Technology (ICT)

Besides IGCSE checkpoint at Year 11, students are supported to take further examination in 

  • HSK (up to level 4 or 5)

  • SPM BM & Sejarah

Sixth Form

18 month program | Jan or Jul intakes

 

Our Sixth Form programme is a highly focused 18-month A-Level pathway designed for students preparing for top universities, scholarships and competitive degree courses worldwide.

 

With two intakes annually in January and July, students benefit from a structured yet flexible academic journey tailored to their ambitions and strengths.

 

Students may pursue:

• 3 to 4 A Level subjects, or

• 3 A Level subjects alongside SPM Bahasa Melayu & Sejarah

 

Beyond academics, every student is encouraged to participate in voluntary work, community initiatives and industry experiences — building not only a stronger university profile, but deeper purpose, maturity and real-world readiness.

 

To further support global university pathways, our programme also provides guidance and support for:

  • SAT

  • HSK

  • SPM Bahasa Melayu & Sejarah
